Language support information

These courses are designed for foreign students who are following a curriculum with French students and are attending CIREFE classes to complete their French language training. Six (6) ECTS credits are awarded for this course provided the exams are successfully completed and the student has not been absent more than twice during the semester.

These courses take place in the evening, Monday through Thursday, from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m with 2 hours of oral course and 2 hours of written course. The semester is 11 weeks long.

Average of 17 students per class, maximum of 20.

Students are tested prior to the beginning of classes and are assigned to groups corresponding to their language level. The levels are those of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages :

When students succeed they obtain their credits at the end of the semester, they move on to the next level. Once a student has passed level C2, he or she is no longer eligible for these courses.
